The Day Before Halloween

Halloween Eve?!

The weather here is ridiculous. It has been raining for longer than I can remember. Last night on the news they said that we've had the most rain since 1882!! Wow. Just think about that for a minute. That is 127 years! Wow.

So, the ground is sopping wet and not at all fit for a fun night of trick or treating. However, we are going to brave it for the girls {Miss Priss'} sake. She is already talking about "knocking on Mr Jim's door and getting candy." He's our neighbor. She remembers going around our little neighborhood last year. All of our neighbors love her. They're all older and she is their entertainment.

Today though, I have a few errands to run around town. I think i'm going to let the girls wear their costumes for fun. Maybe some of the places will have candy to pass out.

I mean, really, how many times to they get to wear their $20 costumes? Once. Um no, we're going to get our money's worth!
